Second Donation will Support Access for Local Families and Individuals to YMCA Programming and Services

 

FORT MCMURRAY, AB – August 28, 2019 – Direct Energy and Direct Energy Regulated Services, were proud to announce a $2,500 donation to YMCA Wood Buffalo this past weekend. The cheque was presented on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Direct Energy and Direct Energy Regulated Services’ free community event, Bounce-A-Palooza. The overwhelmingly popular event took place at MacDonald Island Park and included bouncy castles, carnival games, and free treats This was the second donation to the community organization since December 2018, for a total contribution of $6,000.

Direct Energy and Direct Energy Regulated Services are committed to directing energy to what matters, especially supporting organizations that do so much for local families. This donation will directly support the YMCA’s programs, services, training, and child care that help families reach their full potential and strengthen the local community.
