Regulated vs. Competitive
Whether it's your first time setting up your gas and electricity service or your tenth, you might be wondering whether you should choose a regulated or competitive service provider. As a regulated energy retailer, our rates are based on current market conditions and reviewed each month by an independent body. In Alberta, the Alberta Utilities Commission is responsible for that, and they ensure the rates you pay are fair. Every region of the province has a regulated provider, but there is only one in any given area for gas and for electricity services. Find out more about our service area HERE.

Bills can be delivered to your email or simply within the online account manager so there’s no more snail mail to be concerned with. Customers can access our new account manager on any device – if you're on the go or need to check something quickly, you can log in from your phone or smart device. We provide you with convenient payment options including automatic account withdrawals, direct debit, or credit card payment options – whatever method best suits your needs!

It’s easy to keep track of your natural gas and electricity consumption and see what changes you can make to save you energy and money. To make it easier to plan, we offer a convenient budget billing plan, so you pay the same amount each month no matter the season.
